to me Very common pronoun combination, not a fixed phrase by itself. me marks that something happens to or affects the speaker. With many verbs, it gives an accidental, unintentional, or spontaneous sense: se me olvidó = "I forgot" or "it slipped my mind." With pronominal verbs, it can simply mean "to me": se me acercó = "came up to me."
