“นายชายกับแกน่ะชอบกันหรือ ?”
Do you and Nai Chai like each other?
ถ้าศาลจะถามนายชายดูก็คงจะได้ความจริง
If the court questions Mr. Chai, it’ll probably get the truth.
นายชาย “ได้มาแล้ว”
Mr. Chai said, “I got it.”
นายชาย “นานแล้ว หลายชั่วโมง”
The man said, “It’s been a long time—several hours.”
นายชาย “ถูก”
Mr. Chai was “right.”
นายชาย “พอให้แล้วก็กลับไปนอน”
A man: “Once you’ve given it to me, go back to sleep.”

Mr. Chai: “Yes.”

นายชาย “ไม่ได้บ่น”
The man “wasn’t complaining.”
นายชาย “อยู่”

ส่วนนายชายนั้นพอออกมาจากศาล เจ้ากรมกองตระเวนก็จับตัว
