ครู่หนึ่ง

นายแจ่มหยุดยืนมองดูหน้าห้องนั้นครู่หนึ่งแล้วก็เดินต่อไป

Mr. Chaem stopped for a moment to look at the front of that room, then continued walking.

นายทองอินนั่งนิ่งอยู่ครู่หนึ่งแล้วก็พูดว่า

Mr. Thong-in sat quietly for a moment, then said:

รุ่งขึ้นนายทองอินกับข้าพเจ้าก็พากันไปบ้านนายศุข คอยอยู่ครู่หนึ่งมองอ่องจึงมา

The next day, Thong-in and I went to Mr. Suk’s house together. After we had waited for a while, Mong Ong arrived.

เขาหยุดไปครู่หนึ่ง

He stopped for a moment.

ข้าพเจ้ามองไปแลเห็นศีรษะตาระเด่นแฝงอยู่ที่หน้าต่างชั้นบนครู่หนึ่ง

I looked up and caught a glimpse of a head peering out from an upstairs window.

She stopped for a moment.

A moment later, a voice seemed to come from inside the craft.

Those words left him silent for a moment.

นายทองอินตรงเข้าไปตรวจทั่วตัวครู่หนึ่ง พยักหน้าแล้วก็เดินเที่ยวภายในห้องรอบห้อง

Mr. Thong-in went straight over and briefly examined him all over, then nodded and walked around the room.

ชายผู้นั้นแลดูหน้านายทองอินครู่หนึ่งแล้วตอบว่า “นายว่ากระไรผมไม่เข้าใจ”

The man looked at Nai Thong-in for a moment, then replied, “I don’t understand what you’re saying.”
