वे कहते थे-इसका नाम पंचायत है!

पंचायत बैठ गई, तो रामधन मिश्र ने कहा-अब देरी क्या है?

संध्या समय एक पेड़ के नीचे पंचायत बैठी।

At dusk, a village council gathered under a tree.

वह बोले-हाँ, ज़रूर पंचायत करो।

He said, “Yes, by all means, hold a village council meeting.”

पंचायत की तैयारियाँ होने लगीं।

Preparations for the village council meeting began.

ख़ाला बिगड़ गईं, उन्होंने पंचायत करने की धमकी दी।

Aunt got upset and threatened to take the matter to the village council.
