lui dire (à elle) ; lui raconter ; lui annoncer. « tell » s’emploie souvent avec un complément indirect (tell + someone + something). « to tell her » = dire quelque chose à une femme/une fille. On peut aussi dire « tell her that… » (= lui dire que…).
